DUSHANBE, April 24, Asia-Plus – State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre in Dushanbe has launched a contest among Tajik youth wanting to study at higher educational institutions in Russia and Ukraine.
The theatre deputy director, Ziyo Teshayev, said that the contest had been announced as part of the national program on training personnel for the country.
Competitively selected youth will study at State Chaikovsky Conservatoire, Theatrical Arts Academy and Theatre University in Moscow, St. Petersburg Institute of Music and Cinematography, Arts Institute named after Surikov in Moscow, as well as at Kiev National Academy and Lvov Music Academy in Ukraine.
Besides, boys and girls aged 8 to 12 will be competitively selected to study at choreographic school in the Russian city of Perm, according to Teshayev.
