DUSHANBE, June 15, Asia-Plus – A republican three-day festival of family ensembles will open in Dushanbe on June 18, Asia-Plus has learned at the ministry of culture (MoC).
The source at a MoC said that the event is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of signing of the General Agreement on reestablishment of peace and national accord in Tajikistan, which is marked on June 27.
14 family ensembles from various regions of the country are taking part in the festival that runs through June 20. These ensembles have been competitively selected from among participants of the contest among family ensembles that was held in March, the source said.
