Isfara’s branch of Tajik Railways ships more than 32,000 tons of cargoes to CIS states this year so far

ISFARA, August 19, 2008, Asia-plus  — The branch of Tajik Railways in Sughd’s Isfara district has shipped more than 32,000 tons of various economic cargoes to the CIS states, primarily the Russian Federation, since the beginning of this year, Asia-Plus has learned from Abduvahhob Nizomov, head of the Isfara railway station.     

According to him, 12,831 tons of cargoes have been shipped to Isfara over the same period.  

More than 30 persons currently work with the Isfara station at an average monthly wage of 400 somonis, Nizomov said.
