DUSHANBE, August 20, 2008, Asia-Plus — A 53-year-old resident of the city of Vahdat Ghulomali Zokirov has been arrested by local police on suspicion of having killed his 12-year-old son, according to the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
The source at a MoI said that according to the preliminary investigation, Zokirov beat his son to death, following family quarrel.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Zokirov and an investigation is under way.
