The motor fleet of the Interior Ministry of Turkmenistan will be complemented with UAZ and KAMAZ special cars. New cars will be supplied by 1 September, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent was told in the press center of the ministry.
It should be recalled that under the contract signed by the Interior Ministry of Turkmenistan and UAZ Corporation (Russia), the Interior Ministry of Turkmenistan will receive 120 new Hunter cars worth US $ 1, 536 million in 2008.
The motor fleet of the Interior Ministry is being upgraded within the programme of modernization of military and special equipment of Turkmenistan”s law enforcement agencies, which was initiated by Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
