KHUJAND, September 3, 2008, Asia-Plus — A 21-year-old resident of the jamoat of Rarz in Sughd’s Ayni district Farida Mukhtorova is charged with having killed her newborn baby.
According to the Sughd police directorate, preliminary investigation has established that on September 1, Mukhtorova threw her newborn baby in public conveniences at school # 3 in the Rarz jamoat.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Farida Mukhtorova and an investigation is under way.
