A business forum on development of railway transport was held in Astana on September 16.
Issues on deficit of freight wagons, recovery capability of production of wagons, repair parts to railway transport, problems on freight wagons repair were discussed at the meeting.
There was also considered an issue on arrangement of priorities in development of cooperation in the sphere of railway transport.
“There is a progress in the issue of production of railway transport. The “General Electric” company participates in construction of a plant on diesel-electric locomotives. It is planned to construct a plant on production of electric locomotives next year,” said General Director of “Kamkor management” LLP Yury Lavrinenko.
