DUSHANBE, September 18, 2008, Asia-Plus — The 3rd three-day International Exhibition, entitled Tajikistan Infrastructure 2008, opened in Dushanbe today.
According to ITECA Osiyo, which is one co-organizers of the exhibition, the main objectives of Tajikistan Infrastructure 2008 are in attracting of new companies, investments, promoting establishment and expansion of business relations, as well as promoting national programs into transport, energy and mining sectors of Tajikistan, and selling the displayed goods and services.
The exhibition is organized by the exhibition company ITECA Osiyo and I.T.E E&C Ltd. (Great Britain) under support of the Government of Tajikistan, CCI, the Ministry of Energy and Industries, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Ministry of Transport and Communications, as well as the Agency for Construction and Architecture.
16 companies from 14 countries, including Tajikistan, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Russia and Turkey, are participating in the exhibition that runs through September 20.
They have put on display their achievements in infrastructure development, information and communications technologies, energy, mining, metallurgy and other industries.
