As it had been reported earlier, Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev signed a resolution on marking the jubilee of

last month. .
The mayor seconded proposal of
Vecherny Dushanbe’s
editorial staff to hold the competition “My City – My Newspaper” and awards in 1,500 somoni each have been instituted for the best material about the capital city and the best photograph of Dushanbe.
Besides, the author of the best proposal on improvement of living conditions in Dushanbe will receive 2,000 somoni in prize money.
Staffers of the news agency Asia-Plus congratulate their colleagues on their jubilee and wish them further creative success.
