DUSHANBE, April 24, 2009, Asia-Plus –The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered a bill requiring amendments to the law on the budget for 2009 at an April 24 meeting, presided over by the lower house speaker, Saydullo Khairulloyev.

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board had also considered amendments to the tax code.   

These issues will be considered at the next session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon, Sultonov said.
