DUSHANBE, June 20, 2009, Asia-Plus — The first concert of Japanese traditional music is being performed at the Opera and Ballet in Dushanbe today.
According to the Japanese Embassy in Dushanbe, Japanese group, Tsuru to Kame, is performing concerts on June 20 and 21 in the framework of the “Central Asia plus Japan” Dialogue Friendship year 2009.
In the meantime, the French Embassy in Dushanbe has also organized a concert of classical music in the framework of the French Season festival in Tajikistan. The concert will be held at Tajikistan’s National Conservatory today evening.
Besides, a concert with participation of performers from of Tajikistan’s Academy of Maqom, symphonic jazz orchestra Bazmoro and known Tajik group Avesta will take place at the Padida Theatre on June 21 and documentary “The Home” by Arthur-Bertrand will be shown at the Lohuti Theatre in Dushanbe in the framework of the French Season festival in Tajikistan.
