DUSHANBE, June 20, 2009, Asia-Plus — Director of the dining car of the train Dushanbe-Moscow has been detained on suspicion of having been involved in drug trafficking.
According to the Ministry of Interior, the director of the dining car of the train Dushanbe-Moscow, Mahmadshrif Jourayev was detained in the Chipteppa jamoat of the Roudaki district on June 20. Four kilograms of heroin were confiscated from him.
Criminal proceedings have bee instituted against Jourayev and an investigation is under way.
