DUSHANBE, June 24, 2009, Asia-Plus — During his visit to Sughd’s Ghonchi district, President Emomali Rahmon met with local residents today, according to presidential press service.
During the meeting, the president informed them of measures taken by the government to create new jobs, carry out reforms in education and health sectors and construct new energy facilities.
Rahmon also noted that during his recent visit to the Russian city of Yekaterinburg he had met with Ghonchi resident who had expressed readiness to build a service center in Ghonchi.
