DUSHANBE, September 2, 2009, Asia-Plus — The leader of the Islamic Revival Party of Tajikistan (IRPT) Muhiddin Kabiri has been invited to attend an international conference on the problems of extremism, authoritarianism, and democracy in Central Asia that will be held at Poland’s Krynica Gorska from September 11-12.
The conference is held in the framework of the 16th International Economic Forum.
Mr. Kabiri said in an interview with Asia-Plus that on the first day of the conference he would read a paper on the subject of “European Union and Central Asia: Prospects for Cooperation” and on the second day he would act as a moderator of the event.
