DUSHANBE, September 3, 2009, Asia-Plus — President Emomali Rahmon yesterday attend an official opening of one of two apartment buildings for employees of the Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting, according to presidential press service.
Before the building-opening ceremony, the president inaugurated a groundbreaking ceremony for construction of the second apartment building, which is expected to be finished by the 20th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence, which will be marked on September, 2011.
It is to be noted that the TV and radio committee has funded construction of the apartment buildings intended for young employees on its own. A total cost of both apartment buildings for 72 families each is 13.022 million somoni, the press service said.
