International conference “Investment potential of minerals in Uzbekistan UZGEOINVEST-2009″ opened in Tashkent on September 10. In the course of its work the Head of State Committee on Geology and Mineral Resources Nariman Mavlyanov stated about government”s intention to attract foreign investors for uranium deposits development.
Tender on development of seven uranium deposits will be announced in March 2010, he stated. Tenders will be held in open regime and any foreign companies can take part in them.
