DUSHANBE, October 13, 2009, Asia-Plus — Tajikistan’s Agency for State Reserves and Akimat (administration) of Kazakhstan’s Pavlodar Region signed a cooperation agreement in Dushanbe yesterday.
The source at the Agency for State Reserves says that under the agreement, the Kazakh region will supply 100,000 tons of grains and 20,000 tons of wheat flour to Tajikistan in 2009-2010. The sides also agreed to provide financial and technical assistance to each other and expressed interest in mutual exchange of information.
The agreement also provides for launch of production enterprises in accordance with laws of the two countries and international laws, the source said.
