DUSHANBE, February 15, 2010, Asia-Plus  — On Saturday February 13, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov signed an order on providing humanitarian aid to Tajikistan, Turkmen news agency, Turkmenistan. The Golden Age, reported.

This decision is an evidence of Turkmenistan’s adherence to traditions of neighborliness and mutual assistance and will promote further strengthening of friendly and fraternal relations between the two neighboring nations.

By president’s order humanitarian aid worth more than 500,000 U.S. dollars will be provided to Tajikistan.  The assistance includes children’s clothes and diesel fuel.
