DUSHANBE, February 25, 2010, Asia-Plus  — Wednesday afternoon, President Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart, President Abdullah Gul, according to presidential press service.

The sides discussed state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkey.

Expansion of economic cooperation was a major topic of the conversation.  The two also exchanged views on a number of international and regional issues being of mutual interest.
