Tajik, Afghan presidents discuss further expansion of cooperation

DUSHANBE, February 26, Asia-Plus  — President Emomali Rahmon yesterday afternoon had a telephone conversation with his Afghan counterpart, President Hamid Karzai, according to presidential press service.

The two discussed state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Afghanistan and implementation of joint economic development projects.

Rahmon and Karzai also discussed a number of international and regional issues being of mutual interest.
