DUSHANBE, January 29, 2011, Asia-Plus  — Customs officers seized nearly 1.5 kilograms of heroin at the Dushanbe airport on January 27, according to the Customs Service.

The source says an inspection of passengers on Dushanbe-Moscow flight # 631 found heroin hidden in a luggage belonging to Dushanbe resident, F.N.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the drug peddler and the case was transferred for further investigation to the transportation prosecutor’s office.
