DUSHANBE, April 8, 2011, Asia-Plus — On Thursday April 7, Tajik Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation Salohiddin Nasriddinov presented credentials to President of the Swiss Confederation Micheline Anne-Marie Calmy-Rey, according to the Tajik FMA information department.
After the credentials-presenting ceremony, the sides exchanged views on state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Switzerland, the current situation in the Central Asian region and the progress of implementation of joint projects.
They also noted that establishment of Tajik-Swiss economic commission would promote further expansion of bilateral cooperation between the countries, the source said.
