DUSHANBE, August 22, 2011, Asia-Plus — Unidentified armed persons in military uniforms have robbed an entrepreneur from Sughd’s Jabborrasoulov district, the Interior Ministry press center reports.
“On Sunday August 21, armed assailants stopped the businessman’s car and seized 485,000 somoni (equivalent to US$100,000) worth of jewelry,” the source said.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted and an investigation is under way.
