DUSHANBE, August 25, 2011, Asia-Plus – One person was killed and at least five others were injured by a short circuit.
The tragedy took place in Dushanbe’s Firdavsi district on August 24. Workers were installing festive symbols when a short circuit happened. “One of workers, Bouriboy Karimov, 28, died, while fiver other workers sustained various burn wounds and were taken to a hospital,” a source in the Firdavsi district administration said.
The Firdavsi prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation into the accident.
