KHUJAND, September 13, 2011, Asia-Plus — Officers from the Isfara police station have solved the murder of local schoolboy Doniyor Jourayev.
According to the Sughd police directorate, the body of Doniyor Jourayev, 14, with multiple head injuries was found near the highway in the Shahrak jamoat Monday morning.
“Isfara resident Khayrullo Boboyev, 56, was arrested on suspicion of having killed Doniyor,” said the source, “Boboyev has confessed to the crime. He struck the schoolboy in the head by a hack several times following quarrel.”
According to the statistical data from the Sughd police directorate, 30 murders have been reported in the northern Sughd province over the first eight months of this year.
