Queen Elizabeth congratulates President Rahmon on Tajikistan’s Independence Day

DUSHANBE, September 14, 2011, Asia-Plus – Queen Elizabeth II has congratulated President Emomali Rahmon on the 20th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence.

According to the British Embassy in Dushanbe, on September 9 Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II of The United Kingdom, sent to the President of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, a congratulatory telegram, saying:

“As you celebrate the 20th anniversary of your Independence, it gives me great pleasure in sending Your Excellency my warmest greetings, together with my best wishes for every success for the people of your country in the coming years.”
