QURGHON TEPPA, September 21, 2011, Asia-Plus — Two teenagers have been detained with a large amount of heroin in Shouroobod district, Khatlon province.
Jourakhon Madiyev, the chief of staff, Khatlon police directorate says Shouroobod residents Daler Rahimov, 18, and Bedil Rahmonali, 17, were detained yesterday on suspicion of having been involved in drug pushing. According to him, a bag containing 4.87 kilograms of heroin was confiscated from them.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained juvenile drug pushers and an investigation is under way.
