Tajik Minister of Energy and Industry Gul Sherali met with Arab investors and donors in the course of his three-day (May 15-17) visit to Dubai.

According to Tajik Ministry of Energy and Trade, Gul Sherali met with the chairman of a group of companies of Al-Shafar Ahmed Abdullah Al-Shafar, chairman of a group of companies of Amanie Advisors Mond Daud Bakar, representative of IRENA agency Yong Chen and other potential investors and donors.

According to the source, the sides discussed possible attraction of investments to Tajikistan’s energy and industry sectors.

The sides also discussed opportunities for establishment of joint enterprises to process fruits and vegetables, cotton-fiber, wool, leather.

Arab investors are also expected to visit Tajikistan in the nearest time to sign a series of cooperation agreements.
