Agroinvestbank open joint-stock company opened a special credit line for disaster victims from Muminobod region of Khatlon province who suffered multiple damage as a result of the 2012 April-May disaster.
In his interview to AP manager of Agroinvestbank’s branch in Kulob Saifiddin Kadamov said that the bank allocated 100.000 Somoni for these purposes. Credits will be issued for the purchase of new cattle to those who lost their cattle as a result of the disaster.
Banker said the move was initiated by disaster victims themselves and the bank decided to help them restore their cattle.
Furthermore, in some cases credits will be issued to those who lost their farmland.
At the same time Agroinvestbank’s branch in Kulob provided one-time assistance in the form of foodstuffs worth 14.000 Somoni to disaster victims from Shurobod, Muminobod and Kulob regions.
