Representatives of the British GPW have recently visited Sughd free economic zone located in north Tajikistan.

As reported by Sughd FEZ, GPW is one of the leading consulting companies in England providing consulting services in such spheres as energy, tourism, marketing surveys, fundraising, project design, engineering, banking operations and infrastructure related projects.

FEZ officials told the visitors about the activity of the free economic zone and presented some priority projects which could be implemented by the consulting company using the state-private partnership mechanism.

It has been noted that this mechanism is new for Tajikistan and its use for implementation of such huge infrastructural projects as establishment of Logistic transport center and construction of a railroad will require experience of international consulting companies.

GPW officials expressed willingness to study the details of these projects and expressed readiness to attract investments for their implementation.
