As reported by the Sughd Police Unit, on May 26 at 21:00 Daler Tursunov, a 20-year-old resident of H.Usmon Jamoat of Bobojongafurov region, met with his fellow villager, 27-year-old Abdursul Abdurulov, at Lochin stadium not far from Jubileiny bridge.
Without any reasons D.Tursunov stabbed A.Abdurasulov with kitchen knife and disappeared from the scene. Abdurasulov died at the scene.
Tursunov was arrested very soon. On May 27 the Khujand Prosecutor’s Office launched criminal proceedings under article 104 part 1 (murder) of the Criminal Code of Tajikistan, the investigation is under way.
