DUSHANBE, October 8, 2012 Asia-Plus – Conference on the integration of Central Asia into the World trade will be held at the Bahoriston resort area of Qairoqqum in Sughd province from October 15 to October 16.
According to the Delegation of European Union to Tajikistan, the event is organized by the Austrian international organization Hilfswerk Austria International in cooperation with the German Society on International Cooperation GIZ (Program on regional economic cooperation assistance in Central Asia) and the Administration of Free Economic Zone (FEZ) “Sughd” in the framework of the project Integrated approach towards promoting Central Asia nuts, dried fruits and honey processing SMEs financed by the European Union.
The goal of the conference is to discuss the development of mechanisms of Central Asian economic cooperation. Alongside with that, during the conference attention will be paid to the issue of harmonization of national legislations to international norms and regulations.
Representatives of relevant state structures, private sector, international and local organizations will participate at the conference.
The conference will be accompanied by an exhibition of food products of local producers.
