DUHANBE, October 8, 2012, Asia-Plus — In connection with repair works to Dushanbe’s water supply network the majority of the city’s neighborhoods will be left without drinking water from 11:00 pm of October 10 to 11:00 pm of October 11.

In the Ismoili Somoni district, the following streets will be left without drinking water: Chashmasor; Amirshoyev; Zahmatobod; Sakhbo; Telman; Anzob; Quliston; Umar Khayom; Sari Osiyo; Proletar; Gagarin; Surkhob; Mehnat; Karamov; Shevchenko; Roudaki (from the intersection with Umar Khayom Street to the intersection with the Bukhoro Street), Mirzo Tursunzoda; Sheroz, Shotemur; Foteh Niyozi; Ismoili Somoni; Abdullo Komandir; M. Kholov; Loiq Sherali; Ghani Abdullo; Lev Tolstoy; Parvin; Pushkin; and Tehron.

In the Shohmansour district, the following streets will be left without drinking water: N. Muhamamd; Kurgan; Khorog; Pamir; Bahori, Druzhba Narodov; Ahmadi Donish; Istaravshan; Huseinzoda; Michurin; Rajabov Academicians; and from 1 Ayni to 77Ayni.

In the Sino district, the following streets will be left without drinking water: Mehrobod; Mirsaid Ali Hamadoni; Navobodi Bolo; Navobodi Poyon; Buni Hisorak; Qazoqon; Qaramishkor; Muhandis; Sharaf; Al-Beruni; as well as neighborhoods ## 82, 91, 92, 101, 112, Ispechak-1, Ispechak-2, Zarafshon-1, Zarafshon-2.

In the Firdavsi district, the following streets will be left without drinking water: Darvoz; Qahhorov; as well as neighborhoods ## 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46; and the Dushanbe combined heat and power (CHP) plant.

In this connection, the mayor’s office asks citizens living in the mentioned streets to store drinking water for twenty-four hours.  Besides, chairpersons of Dushanbe’s districts are ordered to organize the delivery of drinking water to consumers by water carriers.
