DUSHANBE, January 31, 2013, Asia-Plus — On Wednesday January 30, Tajik Minister of Finance Safarali Najmiddinov received China’s Ambassador to Tajikistan Fan Xianrong, according to the Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance (MoF).
In the course of the talks, the sides considered a broad range of issues related to bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and China in sectors like energy, industry, construction and road building, and farm produce processing.
Implementation of joint projects and expansion of trade and economic cooperation as well as introduction of new technologies to promote economic development of Tajikistan were the focus of the meeting.
Issues related to financial and tax policy, prognosis on Tajikistan’s external debt servicing and Tajikistan’s relations with international financial institutions were also among major topics of the meeting, the source said.
