DUSHANBE February 6, 2013, Asia-Plus — Tajikistan eight millionth resident has been born in Dushanbe.
A baby girl that was born at Dushanbe’s maternity house # 3 in the morning of February 5 became the eight millionth resident of Tajikistan. She is the first child in the family of 33-year-old Maysara Sharipova and 37-year-old Rahmonali Sharipov.
The newborn’s height is 48 centimeters and her weight is 2.74 kilograms. “The baby girl and her mother feel themselves well,” a source at the maternity house said.
Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office, says keys t a two-room apartment will be handed over to happy parents soon.
