KHUJAND, June 16, 2014, Asia-Plus — The 26-year-old resident of the northern Konibodom district, H.H., is suspected of illegally depriving teenager of freedom, according to the Interior Ministry’s office in Sughd province.

“On June 13, at around 2:00 am, H.H. entered the house of Ortiqov, beat his 17-year-old son and pushed him into the trunk of VAZ 2106, where the teen was found by his relatives,” an official source at the Interior Ministry’s office in Sughd told Asia-Plus in an interview.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against H.H. under the provisions of Article 131 (2) of Tajikistan’s penal code – illegal deprivation of freedom; an investigation is under way.
