DUSHANBE, April 14, 2015, Asia-Plus – Over the first three months of this year, Tajikistan has produced a total of more than 2.5 billion somoni (equivalent to more than 4155 million USD) worth of industrial goods, according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.

Compared to the same period of the last year the index of the volume of production of industrial goods amounted to 116.7 percent.

Of 1,812 industrial enterprises registered in the country, 408 enterprises has not been in operation in the first quarter of this year.

Of the 90 basic types of industrial products, the output of 49 (45.4 percent) has increased over the report period, and the output of 26 items (28.9 percent) has decreased over the same three-month period.  Fifteen (16.7 percent) basic types of industrial products have not been not manufactured over the report period.
