Dushanbe. 25 August. “Asia Plus” — President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has congratulated the President of Ukraine Peter Poroshenko on Independence Day of Ukraine.

As the press service of the Tajik President says, the telegram states that Tajikistan is interested in giving a new impetus to the long traditional friendship relations and mutual respect that exists between the two countries and peoples.

“I am convicted that our joint efforts will have a new development of mutually beneficial cooperation and constructive engagement between the two countries. I express our readiness to make every effort to deepen them for the benefit of our countries and peoples”- says the telegram.

Emomali Rahmon wished health and success to Peter Poroshenko, and peace and prosperity to the Ukrainian people.
