Dushanbe. 26 August. “Asia Plus” — The state prosecutor Aleksey Kornienko on the eve of 25th of August, the trial into the murder of Tajik taxi driver Rustam Teshaboeva by Ildar Sahapov and Fyodor Basimov, soldiers of the 201st RMB, which takes place behind the closed doors on the Base in Dushanbe, asked the court to sentence the defendants Sahapov to 14 years of imprisonment, and Basimov to 18 years, said a source in 201st RMB in Tajikistan.
According to him, today, on August 26, the court has announced the verdict for the defendants in this criminal case.
Recall, that the body of taxi driver was found with a cut throat on August 19 last year near the lake in the Chimteppa village of Rudaki district in the suburb of Dushanbe.
On 26th of August last year on suspicion of murder of Teshaboev were detained soldiers from the 201st Russian Military Base Sahapov and Basimov.
As was previously reported, the Russian soldiers committed crime on a previous concert after Basimov has borrowed 50 thousand rubles from Teshaboev, but he was unable to return the money. In collusion with his colleague Sahapov, they tried to “solve the problem” on August 16. But they did not succeed the first time, and on18th of August, they offered Teshaboev to “go fishing.” Near the village Lake Chimteppa Basimov kept the driver and Sahapov cut his throat.
Later, the command of the 201st Russian Military Base said that these two soldiers have mental disorder, and they were sent for examination to Yekaterinburg. In a survey it was found out that Basimov and Sahapov have no mental disorders, and were returned to Tajikistan.
