On Fakhrabad started anti-drug exercises “Thunder 2015″of CSTO member states

Dushanbe. 28 August. “Asia Plus” — Eight-day special tactical exercises “Thunder 2015” of CSTO member states law enforcement agencies were opened on Thursday in Tajikistan.

In the exercises take part Special Forces of anti-drug agencies and services, internal security forces, interior troops, bodies of internal affairs and state security – members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, allocated in the units of Special Forces of the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Force.

This exercises are organized to carry out joint activities (operations) to cut off the channels of smuggling drugs and suppression of the criminal groups activities in the border area of ​​the Republic of Tajikistan

Today on August 27, at the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Tajikistan “Fakhrabad” range took place a demonstration of tactical and special operations units.

The event was attended by the Deputy Secretary General of the CSTO Amanzhol Zhankulyev, director of the Federal Drug Control Service of Russia Viktor Ivanov, Chairman of the SDCS Kyrgyzstan Rafik Mambetaliyev, director of DCA under the President of Tajikistan Rustam Nazarzoda, representatives of the Security Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, the leadership of law enforcement and security agencies of the Republic, ambassadors and military attaches of foreign countries, accredited in Tajikistan.

The exercises are attended by the representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan.
