DUSHANBE, October 6, 2015, Asia-Plus — Three border crossings on the Tajik-Afghan border have resumed operations.

“The “Panj” border crossing point (BCP) on the Tajik-Afghan border in Khatlon province and two BCPs on the Tajik-Afghan border in the Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Region – “Ishkashim” in the Ishkashim district and “Ruzvai” in the Darvoz district – have resumed their operation,” Mohammad Ulughkhojyaev, a spokesman for the Main Border Guard Directorate at the State Committee for National Security (SCNS), told Asia-Plus in an interview.

According to him, the BCPs were closed in connection with the recent attack on the Afghan city of Kunduz.
