DUSHANBE, November 30, 2015, Asia-Plus – The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament discussed amendments proposed to the country’s laws on registration of acts of civil status and electrical link as well as the country’s penal code at a November 30 meeting, presided over by its head, Shukurjon Zuhurov.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, says the board also discussed a monetary policy forecast for 2016.
The board also discussed the issue of ratification of a government-to-government agreement between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan on strategic partnership that was signed in Dushanbe on September 15 this year during an official visit of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Tajikistan, the spokesman said.
