DUSHANBE, January 20, 2016, Asia-Plus – A resident of the Shahritous district (Khatlon province) has been arrested on suspicion of killing his wife.
The Interior Ministry’s website reports a 35-year-old resident of the Shahritous district was detained on January 19 on suspicion of killing his 32-year-old wife.
The preliminary investigation has reportedly established that he bet his wife to death following family quarrel on January 13.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against him and an investigation is under way.
