Japan expected to appoint its ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Tajikistan this year

DUSHANBE, March 28, 2016, Asia-Plus — Japan is expected to appoint its ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Tajikistan this year.

According to the Tajik MFA information department, this issue was discussed on March 25 in Tokyo during meetings of Tajik First Deputy Foreign Minister, Nizomiddin Zohidi, with Japanese officials.

The Japanese side reportedly also noted that the first meeting of Tajikistan-Japan intergovernmental commission for economic and trade cooperation will take place this year.
