Tajikistan and Kazakhstan held consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs

In Astana took place political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to the information Department of MFA of the RT, Tajik delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Hakdod Mahmadsharif Mahmud, Kazakh delegation by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country Galymzhan Koishybayev.

The parties discussed the state and prospects of development of bilateral relations, and exchanged views on important regional and international issues.

Were discussed the issues of strengthening cooperation in trade, economic, water, energy, transport-communication, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres, as well as the extension of the existing legal framework.

The sides have exchanged views on prospects for future activities of the CSTO, SCO and CIS, including the interaction of two states within the framework of these organizations, including security issues.

At the meeting the sides noted the importance of holding regular consultations at various levels, considering them as an important mechanism to broaden and deepen the strategic partnership between the two countries.
