The major activities of the main holiday of Tajikistan – the 25th-anniversary of the state independence will be held in Dushanbe on the 8th of September. This day early in the morning will be held a military parade on "Dusti" square with the participation of 16 thousand soldiers and officers of Dushanbe garrison.
In the afternoon in the capital’s complex "Kohi Borbad" will be held a festive meeting, which will be conducted by the President Emomali Rahmon with the participation of members of government, members of Parliament, diplomatic corps, accredited in Dushanbe, members of the public. After the meeting will be a concert.
In the evening of the 8th of September at the Central Republican stadium in Dushanbe will be held a theatrical performance, which will last 1.5 hours and will end with the start of the fireworks.
On the 9th of September, in honor of the main holiday of Tajikistan, will be conducted a mass march of Dushanbe citizens. It is expected to be attended by about 60 thousand citizens of the Republic. In the morning the participants of a parade will march on the main square of Dushanbe – “Dusti”, they will welcome the leadership of the country.
On the 10th of September in "Navruzgoh" will be pilaf fest – there will be identified the best master in the preparation of pilaf in the country.
On September 11 the President will go to Sughd oblast to celebrate the main holiday of the country.
In connection with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the state independence of Tajikistan and the upcoming holiday Kurban Bayram Tajiks will rest for four days, from 9th to 12th of September inclusive.
