The CIS Consultative Council on Labor, Migration and Social Protection of the Population will meet in the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek on September 30 to discuss the social and labor situation in the CIS member nations, according to the CIS Executive Committee.

The Council members are expected to exchange views on measures being taken to improve the social and labor situation within the CIS area.

They will discuss model laws on migration adopted by the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly in November last year. 

The meeting participants will also discuss issues related to inventory of documents concerning social, labor and migration spheres.

Besides, they will discuss the process of the implementation of a number of agreements on preferential rights for war veterans and the plan of actions on enhancement of migration statistics in the CIS member nations designed for 2014-2016.
