The President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon during his working trip to Muminabad district of Khatlon region has opened a number of objects today, October 3, in the area.
In the center of the region Emomali Rahmon has opened the Palace of Culture, the construction of which began in 2008, reports a press-service of the RT. It is noted that on the construction of the object, the area of which is over 1.8 thousand square meters, were spent 9 million 755 thousand 83 somoni.
The President instructed the workers of culture and art of the region to make greater efforts for the development of the art and high national culture, constantly improve their skills.
Besides, Emomali Rahmon participated in the ceremony of the opening of Department of the State Committee of national security in Muminabad district. The three-storey building was constructed for the sum of 1 million 700 thousand somoni.
The President has presented the staff of the national security Committee of the district and their families the keys to 2- and 3-bedroom apartments, as well as admonished them for honest and faithful service to the people and the Motherland.
Also Emomali Rahmon has opened the Central Stadium area for more than 7 thousand spectators on the street named after Temursho Rahimov of Jamoat village Muminobad. The total area of the stadium is 11 thousand 485 m2 . For the construction and the equipment of this facility were spent over 14.6 million somoni.
During the meeting with the activists of the region the President said that the government is taking all efforts in order not to let the remote villages of the country be undeveloped.
