Tax authorities of Tajikistan are interested in the problems, which hinder the development of entrepreneurship in the country. For the first time a survey will be undertaken among the entrepreneurs, to identify the difficulties in their activities.

The posted on the website of the Tax Committee under the government of Tajikistan report says that in order to simplify the procedure of registration of entrepreneurs in the country was established a system of "Single window". As a result, stress in the tax office, the deadline for registration of businesses was reduced from 49 days to 5 days.

It is noted that the tax authorities implemented the "Uniform state standard of service taxpayers" in the new edition. "At the moment, as a result of the improving of tax administration system business entities can submit their declarations in electronic form", – emphasize in the Tax Committee.

"However, – mark in the Department, – the life goes forward and current conditions require that for the entrepreneurs, especially for small and medium business in the sphere of production, were created more favorable conditions".

In the Tax Committee believe that it is necessary to identify the real problems of entrepreneurs, as well as the factors that affecting the activities of business representatives, in order to eliminate them.

Therefore, the office considered it necessary to conduct a survey among entrepreneurs in order "to identify the various aspects of difficulties in their activities."

It is noted that such a survey takes place in Tajikistan for the first time. Entrepreneurs are asked to complete the questionnaire, which is posted on the website of the Tax Committee.

It is worth mentioning that on the 14th of October every year since 2014 Tajikistan celebrates the Day of entrepreneurs. In this day the authorities traditionally organize the meeting of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon with the representatives of business.

Meanwhile, the World Bank's ranking of Tajikistan is among the four countries with the highest tax burden. The total tax rate in the Republic in 2015 was 81.8%, increased on 1.9% compared with the same period in 2005. In this component in the world above Tajikistan there are only Argentina (137,4%), Bolivia and Eritrea (83.7%).

For comparison, the total tax rate in Kyrgyzstan is 29%, Kazakhstan – 29,2%, Afghanistan – 36,3%, Uzbekistan – 41.1%, and Russia – 47%.
