Five newly appointed ambassadors presented their credentials to Tajik President Emomali Rahmon on April 11.

According to the Tajik president’s official website, the new ambassadors included Mohammad Gul Zalmai Yunusi of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Nassar Abdulrahman Jasser Al Mutairi of the State of Kuwait, Loku Ketagodage Jayanath Chandrasiri Perera of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Tiefing Konate of the Republic of Mali, and Bernard Tano-Buchue of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire.

Tajik president reportedly congratulated the ambassadors on their appointment and expressed confidence that they would make contribution to expansion of cooperation of their countries with Tajikistan.
